If I had a choice of doing an interview by phone or by email -- I'd always prefer phone. Live convos give me the chance to elaborate on a topic and I don't have to worry about grammar or run-on sentences. Convos also allow me to introduce a new topic for a future interview! 💡 There are some advantages to email though -- you can do them anytime (they don't need to be scheduled) and you have proof of the words you used so there's less of a chance of getting misquoted. I've also noticed something interesting about podcast interviews: some of the best conversations happen before and after an interview takes place!! ✨ You Asked, I Answered: Question: "I really want to start writing a story or even get quoted in one, but I keep procrastinating because I let imposter syndrome hold me back.
